[edit]There's no reference to Templars in this article. According to recent research, Kilwinning and Irvine contained "the highest number of Templar properties in Scotland". I think this should be represented in the article somehow. TheDelineator (talk) 23:29, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
But is this correct? To add this to the article we need to know during which precise historical period this statement refers to and the exact area - it's boundaries - that this statement makes reference to. I have come across Templar sites in many places in Ayrshire, Kilwinning doesn't stand out exactly. We need a reference to a publication that carries citations first.
