A fact from Larkin Administration Building appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 9 December 2005. The text of the entry was as follows:
This article is within the scope of WikiProject Architecture, a collaborative effort to improve the coverage of Architecture on Wikipedia. Reference request to wikify. Could you please clarify. I do not believe in excessive wikification of dates. The place and architect are linked. Other potential links, such as the now-defunctcompany would go to red links and I doubt whether their articles will ever be written, if they are, the editors would find their way here - the most notable thing about the company in 2005 to the outside world is this building.--A Y Arktos20:51, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
