There is a big problem with the chronolgy, as the article claims he reingned from 752 until 742 but also he became king 3 years after Tiglath-Pileser became king of Assyria in 845 BCE, so 742. That is a difference of 10 years that needs to be corrected, apperently the dates used here a wrong (I assume Assyrian dates to be well founded).
I would like to challange anyone who has expertise in the chronologies to sort this out. I think it would also be very helpfull to make al dual list of both the kings of Judah and Israel with chross-references in Assyrian (like this one) and Egyption chronology (and then use this list as a reference point for al the dates mentioned in other articles). I've removed the infobox dates for now, which were based on Thiele – so the oldest (biblical) scholarship and one of only several conflicting chronologies, as detailed in the chronology section. Iskandar323 (talk) 12:47, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
