Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Piston effect. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Merge Tunnel boom into/and Piston effect?

[edit]

The articles overlap and do not link to each other. The effects are so closely related that merging would make sense. --Mopskatze (talk) 12:39, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree; I'll go ahead and merge the two articles since nobody seems to object. Peter Beard (talk) 08:37, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please modify the links to other languages too. "Tunnel boom" had some links, but the lemma is not used any more. --83.228.190.62 (talk) 21:24, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

TGV-tunnel against Piston effect?

[edit]

Special entrance hoods need holes in the hood or special sound absorbing material or a form "like a trumpet" or .... So why this image shows a special hood against Piston effect? For me it looks like a standard hood, a little bit longer than the tunnel to protect the track against falling stones and other stuff. ... ??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.228.190.62 (talk) 21:29, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
