- The archaic spelling is used because these weapons are identified in collections by the inscription on the lock plate.

Unit Conversions
[edit]Units conversions to up to 6 decimal places are meaningless. The manufacturing tolerances of the time (e.g. for lengths, probably tenths of mm for small values like bore sizes, or whole mm [~1/32"] for barrel lengths) should be considered when converting units.
