Sorry ... checked a few references/links and they don't exist or don't say what the topic says. --Bridge Boy (talk) 18:24, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the broken links. I have also reverted your other edits which introduced some inaccuracies. For example, lower rockers and badges are two very different things. I will add a shot of what the rocker looked like once I can find one. Garth of the Forest (talk) 22:05, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You need to provide a source if you want to change or add information[edit]

Unless you are just fixing a typo or improving the grammar or readability of an article, you need to provide a reliable third party reference that supports any changes you want to make to the information as presented in an article. Otherwise the information you have added is either original research, which is not acceptable as a source, or unverifiable, and will be reverted or removed.

I just reverted the change regarding how long the Red Deer chapter was in existence. I will re-read the sections of Daniel Wolf's book that discusses the early years of the club to refresh my memory on what exactly it says about this in his book, but in the interim, unless you can provide a source that states the Red Deer chapter was in existence for that length of time (about 4 years), we will stick with the information from the source we do have (Coyote's book) and the way this article was worded before you made changes without providing any references. Daniel Wolf is wrong !!! I know because I was one of the originals who started the Red Deer REBELS MC in 1968. I'm now 63 years old but the Red deer REBELS were around for about 4 years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.66.232.234 (talk) 00:50, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure how thrilled anyone else is that you chose to name names. Maybe since the era you refer to was from before any criminal activity got anywhere close to being organized it is not that big of a deal. Anyway, I'm letting the article stand "as is" for right now because it does not include any of the unsourced content that you had previously added, and the current wording is a reasonable compromise until we can find some additional sources. For what it is worth, I believe you. I recognize many of those names. However, I strongly encourage you to read WP:OR, WP:SOURCE and WP:PILLARS before doing any further editing of Wikipedia articles. • Quit trying to bully editors. First off information is added all the time without sources. Go read some obscure war articles and you will see plenty of first hand accounts. Is it accepted wiki practice. No, but done all the time. Garth you sound like Garth of the Library, a real wanker, not some supposed outlaw in a previous carnation flower pot. It is also unacceptable to remove information because it go against your POV but that is also done all the time. Sometimes being bold and ignoring the rules is the way to go if you want to achieve that Wikipedia "Outlaw" status. Yes, I am having fun with all the nonsense that happens here. Cheers!!! 172.56.11.30 (talk)
If you have ever felt bullied by me, you must be a real wimp. Please direct me to the war articles you refer to so I can remove the unsourced material. I do not remove material based on my POV, I remove material that does not have credible, referable, sources. Original research has no place here. This is an encyclopaedia, not a blog about your great uncles that may or may not have shit their pants in the trenches. I usually only will do a revert or a removal after talk page discussion, but, in your case, when it is obviously vandalism or disruptive trolling, I will gladly make an exception.
I am also a believer in being bold, but, unlike you, I believe in bold editing, not bold trolling. Please sign your posts, have a nice day, and stay out of the sun. Garth of the Forest (talk) 18:39, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

WTF?[edit]

I haven't looked at this article for a few years; I see it has gone to shit since I last updated it.

Who the FUCK changed the "s" to a "z"? Fucking wanker. Look at the fucking patch. Do you see a fucking ZED? Also: which asshole removed the properly sourced (Edmonton Journal, 1976) information describing how the Rebels MC kicked racist Airborne ass in 1976? Fuck you too! Time to take out the trash again!
