Possible item for inclusion. It's purely a periodization article, no history other than historiography. Although I wonder if periodizations would overwhelm this template there are so many. -- GreenC 15:28, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've added it in, although I do sort of understand the concern about potentially too many periodizations. That's probably something to figure out, so I've limited it to modern era-related periodizations for now. XTheBedrockX (talk) 06:24, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Way too big

[edit]

This template is way too big, and constantly getting bigger. There is no end in sight, because the topic is as vast as history itself. -- GreenC 22:02, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@GreenC Made the template collapsible. Hopefully this fixes the issue. XTheBedrockX (talk) 23:42, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It helps a lot, thank you. Though I think it would better half the size, it still takes up real estate. Is it possible to collapse within collapse? For example placing "By country|war|person sections into a single top-level section. Same with othertopics|related .. there's also some repeated information with "historical methods" link at the top and a collapsed section called "Methodology". -- GreenC 15:39, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
