First joined Wikipedia to edit articles about RuneScape, but as my interest in that evaporated, moved to the rugby league WikiProject. My first article was on how notable rugby league was in Tuvalu; the article was very conclusive: it was not. Began improving the coverage of Super League articles, including lists of past season results and bringing old tables up to improved standard. As a Wigan Warriors fan, worked to raise DW Stadium to good article status, and achieved this on 8 September 2009 after a year of nitpicking.
I am more interested in the quality of information over its quantity. One high-quality featured list is infinitely more useful to all of us than a stub article for every entry on that list. The aim of Wikipedia as a tertiary source on rugby league should be to provide the best quality of information available anywhere, using other references from elsewhere for broad coverage, for free-use. Therefore I'm actively interested in improving rugby league articles to good article status, so if you need assistance then please ask away—I'll help in whatever way I can. If you have an interest in editing rugby league articles, please join us at the WikiProject!
Apart from rugby league, I follow football (soccer), American football, snooker, cricket and tennis. My GetGlue profile gives a brief summary of my other interests.
Update Wigan players' biographies alongside the season articles.
Long term ideal
Turn Wikipedia into the best free-use resource for information on Wigan Warriors in the Super League era, and follow the change of focus in rugby league writing from article creation to quality improvement.
