'Sheldon Joel Sevinor (born June 17, 1946) is an American Plastic and reconstructive Surgeon. Sevinor specializes in innovative reconstructive surgery and aesthetic facial and body enhancement procedures. Dr. Sevinor is Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Sevinor served a four-year term on the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the Massachusetts Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Liposuction Surgery and an honorary member of the European Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. For many years, Dr. Sevinor was a member of the medical staff of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Founded in 1824, the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is an international center for treatment and research and a teaching hospital of the Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sevinor was invited to be a “Senior Fellow Mentor” at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sevinor was the recipient of the 2015 NORTH SHORE MEDICAL CENTER PARTNERS HEALTH CARE SURGICAL SERVICES EXCELLENCE AWARD.

Sevinor has contributed articles on reconstructive and cosmetic surgery in major publications such as: The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Boston Magazine, USA Today, the Associated Press, Harpers Bazaar, Mademoiselle, The South China Post, The London Sunday Mirror, Woman’s Own (U. K.), and Der Spiegel (Germany).

Education[edit]

Honored to have been named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities while an undergraduate at Syracuse University, Dr. Sevinor earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. His internship and residency in general surgery was at Brown University-Rhode Island Hospital. He served his plastic surgery residency at the University of Florida-Jacksonville Hospital where he was Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery.
