Temple Farlane is Marimar McNaughton, writer and award-winning author of non-fiction books devoted to the art, architecture and vernacular culture of eastern North Carolina. In 2007, her story about the perfect weekend getaway to Columbia, published by Our State magazine, was archived online via the official Web site of the North Carolina Division of Travel, Sports, and Film Development by clicking on About NC.
