November 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Veverve. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Old Catholic Church seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 10:20, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Veverve Can you remind me of what my edit to Old Catholic Church was? I'm afraid I can't recall. But I'm interested in what you meant by "less than 'neutral'." 208.101.166.98 (talk) 05:43, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Fiducia supplicans has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. Pbritti (talk) 04:31, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Pbritti I'm sorry, I can see how my recent edit to the Fiducia Supplicans article might be perceived as polemical, perhaps, but can you please explain how my edit summary is inadequate (this makes the most sense in terms of not maintaining a full scholarly approach,) inaccurate or inappropriate? My use of the edit summary "style" is accurate here, no? Perhaps it should have been "content?" 208.101.166.98 (talk) 05:39, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The issue is that, in this edit you said you Fixed typo. Instead, you inserted new content that was unsupported by the present sourcing. A good resource for better understanding the issue and preventing similar concerns is this page. Please let me know if you need further explanation. Best, ~ Pbritti (talk) 05:59, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Pbritti Okay. Thank you. I will look at the page. I was reading about avoiding reverts. And referring to the "talk pages." I hadn't fully understood the guidelines. I have to familiarize myself with the rules. 208.101.166.98 (talk) 06:46, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
