[edit]The correct transliteration of й is i and not y. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanization_of_Ukrainian Please familiarize yourself with correct transliteration of Ukrainian names before moving pages. Ukrainian government created a wonderful tool for this purpose [[1]]. Ceriy (talk) 01:01, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- Please stop unexplained moves, also please provide edit summaries to explain reasoning on moving pages. Ukrainian letter й is transliterated not as y but as i as explained in above linked wiki page and official name checker.Ceriy (talk) 02:57, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- You claim there is a consensus however you fail to provide a link to that decision. Also you tell me there is a consensus to use y for й and you revert an edit on an article you don't like. However 18 minutes later you move a page where a й was transliterated a y to an i [[2]] and then another 3 minutes later [[3]]. Also you make changes to names in this edit [[4]] which also do not support your statement. As for footballers, I see й transliterated as i: Ihor Yakubovskyi, Artem Shelestynskyi, Maksym Bahachanskyi, Maksym Mudryi, Vladyslav Buchakchyiskyi, Anton Kanibolotskyi and here is an example where its one way in one part and another in second Andriy Malchevskyi so where is the consensus?
