"...a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma... "

Thank you for quality articles about personalities such as Sid Luckman and Félix Houphouët-Boigny, for work for project Living people when it was active, for quoting "...a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma... ", for support and the perfect solution, - enigmaticmaman, repeating from 10 years ago: you are an awesome Wikipedian!

You are recipient no. 2240 of Precious, a prize of QAI! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:36, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ten years!

Thanks, Gerda. I imagine I'm one of the few 2009 recipients still here. Enigmamsg 15:40, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Well, not so few, - I joined 2009, DYK? I normally look up if someone found precious 10 years ago (mostly by Rlevse) is still active and deserves a refreshed award. For you, it was the opposite: I noticed you on Floq's page, and thought "precious!", but then saw your entry and waited a bit ;) - Nice to meet you! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:45, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sad to see you leave Wikipedia

[edit]

I hope that your retirement isn't permanent, and that you decide to return to Wikipedia (whenever that may be). I'll miss you a lot, and I hope to hear from you in the future someday when you make your return. Should I never hear from you again, please know that I wish you well and I wish you a life of happiness and well-being. It was a pleasure to know you and work with you here, and I am sad to see you go...... ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:34, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am not happy. Things are getting worse and worse on Wikipedia. Enigmamsg 20:32, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Just to add my sadness about your retirement...and my thanks for your input at RFPP. Take care. Lectonar (talk) 10:12, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:CloudBuy

[edit]

Hello, Enigmaman. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "CloudBuy".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:39, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You got it deleted before the message even appeared for me, so this is not a helpful message. You could've notified me first. Enigmamsg 20:32, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your input

[edit]

I have an RfC going on at Talk:Gwar#RfC_about_GwarBar_vs_GWARbar regarding using all caps in an article and would appreciate the input of some long-standing Wikipedia editors who may be familiar with the policy, or at least be able to interpret the existing policy with some clarity. Thanks for your time! NJZombie (talk) 23:21, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This title is salted. Can you unprotect to allow promotion of draft into mainspace? Draft:Pranav Pandya (Gujarati poet) is a different topic. It is well cited. I have checked for notability. It should be moved to Pranav Pandya. I was asked for help on my talkpage. Regards,-Nizil (talk) 14:32, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Enigmaman is inactive. Hey Eddie891 Can you help with this ? --Gazal world (talk) 15:19, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Nizil Shah, I have un-salted so the draft can be mainspaced as it's clearly not an A7 candidate. The new article may of course still be tagged if it is not notable, I have not closely reviewed the case. Thanks for the ping, Gaza world. Cheers, Eddie891 Talk Work 15:45, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I do not know anything about this. I SALTed the title some years ago after it had been deleted multiple times by various admins. Enigmamsg 16:43, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Enigmaman, your edit on the above page has been removed because the content claimed is not support by any source. You are welcome to put it back in if you would support it with an independent, reliable source by providing an inline citation. Thank you. Cassiopeia(talk) 04:55, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No, it has a source. His official UFC page. Enigmamsg 15:44, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Burton (name), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Burton. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Element Fresh

[edit]

Hi! I see you are the closer for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Element Fresh. I found an article from The Beijinger that it had developed a partnership with a tennis player named Li Na and now it's gone bankrupt. Would it help if I checked for some Chinese sources about the bankruptcy? If I can find enough I could start a DRV. WhisperToMe (talk) 01:24, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I started User:WhisperToMe/Element Fresh as a draft. If you're interested, please feel free to give feedback. Thank you WhisperToMe (talk) 23:26, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Enigmaman. You fully protected Matthew Tye on 2 July 2018 after Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matthew Tye (3rd nomination) was closed as "delete". I created a deletion review at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2022 June 20#Matthew Tye regarding restoring the article using a new draft I wrote. Cunard (talk) 07:23, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
