Thank You
[edit]Excellent Helper with Guidelines | |
Thank you so much for your help with best practices! Please feel free to continue to help me as I learn how to best use Wikipedia:) Thanks again! MG2020DTC (talk) 21:20, 8 January 2020 (UTC) |
- Uhh thanks I guess?? I was just patrolling Special:Recentchanges and saw The Plum Guide which read like an advertisement. The info on locations, etc seems good but should be rewritten as I think it may be copied from an official description.GoodCrossing (talk) 21:26, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
- I have continued to revise the page based on you suggestions. I did add a lot of citations and if you look at the info the sources are mostly outside publications as well as statistical facts from the company site. I removed the locations information as I did just take it directly from their site. I did cite it though with the source but I see how it looks "advertisy" — Preceding unsigned comment added by MG2020DTC (talk • contribs) 21:34, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks! I'm currently watching the recent changes page for vandalism, but I might drop by to help you rewrite. By the way, when in discussion pages like this one, it's common to indent comments using colons, for example, I placed three at the beginning of this comment to indent it below yours. It's also recommended to sign your messages, by placing four tildes at the end. GoodCrossing (talk) 21:41, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
you finally have a new message after a while

Disambiguation link notification for November 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Photographic film, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Polaroid. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:16, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Are you sure this edit is constructive for the article? Leoprix (talk) 23:55, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
- Shoot, sorry. I was on Recent Changes and I had seen this edit. I thought the edit I reverted was adding the text back, and that's why I reverted. Of course, this had the opposite effect I intended. Apologies, and thanks for noticing! GoodCrossing (talk) 14:02, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- No worries, I thought I'd ask anyway before I undid it. Leoprix (talk) 02:38, 10 March 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:New
[edit]A tag has been placed on Draft:New requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
