Fine, I will re-read the articles/links that you have sent to me previously and I will refer to them, in case of any error on my part. I'll try to see if there are any errors. Please, do not have me blocked. Please revert your complaint from the Administrators' Board. Let's just settle this and make peace. Kishore Editing - 16:75 (IST) 28 January, 2022

newspapers.com

[edit]

Just an FYI, please make sure you use newspapers.com links instead of www-newspapers-com.wikipedialibrary.idm.oclc.org links in articles, as the latter can only be viewed by people logged into The Wikipedia Library. Also, please make sure you only link clipped pages, instead of a page in its entirety, as you need to be logged-in (and subscribed) to view full pages (but anyone can view clips). Is this mandatory, or is this some admin rule you are making up? Llammakey (talk) 11:33, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I just tried to make a clipping and it says I have to register. Then when I try to register it gives me an error message. Furthermore, the instructions say "use clippings where possible". Not that I have to use them. I assumed that wikipedia users would be using the library to check my sources and not the general public, so I do not give a hoot about the logged-in and subscribed thing, anymore than if I used a Bloomberg News or The Globe and Mail article which required subscriptions.
