Why do you delete the scientific information and the table of Iranian Languages?--78.179.66.3 (talk) 20:21, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You know, I don't even recall being on that page, but the history clearly shows me editing out the table... I'm not really quite sure why because I only viewed the page then left (mind you this was on Friday), I don't usually touch articles I don't know about... I wasn't even on my computer that day... I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but who ever edited it was using my account, it wasn't me. --MercZ (talk) 01:16, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kane's Wrath Epic Units

[edit]

Hi MercZ,

Can I ask you why you removed the table formatting and unit details for the Epic Units section of Kane's Wrath?

The table formatting was there because otherwise the illustrations would be misaligned from the paragraphs (as they are now once again). I'd like to change that back to fix the layout unless you have a better idea.

Thank you. -Clueless (talk) 03:44, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it to something more simple because quite simply it looked like a mess to have. When I was reading it, the pictures were on the left side of the page, and the headings were simply (GDI), (Nod), (Scrin), and other things were bolded here and there. There was also unnecessary information as to what garrisoning different units would do to the respective epic units, which I think was overboard for encyclopedic content (remember, we do have CNC wikis for more in-depth analysis). It seemed like a cruddy appearance on wikipedia.
Move the pictures where you want though, I just suggest that you do not return the in-depth descriptions of the units. I didn't mean to cause anything destructive though, sorry- I just meant to make the page a bit more in-line with an encyclopedia, but I'm not sure how you can fit in 3 pictures of that size there.

Ok, I understand. You're right about the detail; it was probably unnecessary. As for the pictures, I resized them and trimmed the captions. They should fit better now. Thanks for explaining :) -Clueless (talk) 00:10, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kurdistan Democratic Party (Iraq), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Populist (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
