Brandy "Put It Down". Can you pleass stop removing the itunes chart info?

[edit]

It is esential to leave that on the page. It show how popular the song became over night. Itunes chart stuff is on other song's pages. I just think you should leave the pages for American artists to actual Americans. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BenjaminButler123 (talkcontribs) 01:42, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting Reference On Kelly Rowland Work Page

[edit]

I was just wondering why you decided that it was best to edit out the citation for reference number 15. (This is the citation I am talking about: "Ultratop". ultratop.be. Retrieved 2008-05-17. {{cite web}}: Text "Belgian (Wallonia)" ignored (help)) As you can see on the current page, there is an error on reference 15 and the citation was placed there to fix the error.

Therefore, if you could tell me why you thought it was better to leave the error there (instead of having the error fixed by placing the correct citation) I would greatly appreciate it. I ask this because I wouldn't want to place the citation back into the article if you were just going to just delete again.

Proposed deletion of List of No Angels songs

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article List of No Angels songs, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? TNX-Man 14:25, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Single-ifyourgirlonlyknew.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Single-ifyourgirlonlyknew.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We've been through this before. We can only refer to "Turn It Up" as a "buzz track" if it is referred to as such in one or more reliable sources. If you can find a source of this description, add it to the article; if not, we shouldn't be claiming that songs are "buzz tracks" because that's original research. 86.1.249.35 (talk) 14:40, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can I ask why you are continually removing the cover from this article? If there's an issue, then that's not a problem, but at least explain what the issue is in the edit summary. J Milburn (talk) 12:58, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, that's fine, please keep removing it then. Explaining these things in your edit summaries would save confusion like this in the future. J Milburn (talk) 13:19, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:S-connor-music-is.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Brandy wau1.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Brandy wau1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 11:28, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Why I Love You So Much (sceenshot).jpg

[edit]
Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Why I Love You So Much (sceenshot).jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Stifle (talk) 11:33, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Stifle.

Sorry, but I really need some help with user Raw721. He/she's constantly doing revision on the Monica discography article, removing content, that I proved as notable with sources. I told him kindly that there are rules on Wikipedia and that I'd accept his revisions if he could prove otherwise. Please, have a look at what he wrote on my user page - I'm kinda shocked to be honest! Thank you, Noboyo —Preceding undated comment was added at 01:36, 9 January 2009.

P.S.: Sorry, my English is not the best. You surely have to do better, but you just were the 1st administrator I found.

Thank you for your message. In future, please sign your messages by typing ~~~~ at the end.
  • I have removed the offensive message from your user page and left Raw721 a message warning him that he will be blocked if he makes such edits again.
  • Raw721's edits on that article are not vandalism.
    • You are having a content dispute, and should discuss it on the talk page rather than reverting.
    • Please note that you may be blocked should you make more than three reverts in 24 hours.
    • Please don't describe his edits as vandalism, as that can provoke people.
  • Just to let you know, it is not usually a good idea to leave a message for a specific administrator when you need help from any administrator. We have a noticeboard at WP:ANI for situations when any administrator could help.
  • If you need help from someone who speaks German, try WT:GSWN or Category:User de.
I hope this reply helps. Stifle (talk) 09:22, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:NaughtygirlCap1.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:NaughtygirlCap1.jpg.

Orphaned non-free media (File:SavingGrace2000.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:SavingGrace2000.jpg.

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ultimate Collection.jpg.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 00:14, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Breathe Gentle.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

Brandy Human

[edit]

hey what was wrong with my edit of brandy's fifth studio album human? all i did was correct the tag errors and removed the references which were invalid or did not work. suddenly im being accused of removing sources and de-railing the article? this just isn't the case. please consider undoing-doing your undo of my editing or re-editing the background section yourself so it doesnt look like it is in a mess as it currently does. Other charted songs

[edit]

You editing style is WP:disruptive and frankly unhelpful. I think you should read wikipedia rules because it clearly states that articles will be edited and so if you do not want your work altered you should not post it on wikipedia. From what i can understand you seem to have assigned yourself as the main editor for Human and now seem to act as though you are the only editor who can make edits and revisions. Previously we clashed over the track-listing and i stepped down to prevent a WP:edit war. However i have noticed you do tend to revert virtually every other users' edits to this article even when there are appropriate, satisfactory, in the rules or helpful. Frankly i think you need to step back and consider what you are reverting before doing so.

If an artist has songs which chart even though they weren't released as singles this counts as critical reception because it shows what fans/people think about a song. If you had not deleted the singles section which i had previously put into the article it would have made even more sense. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 12:12, 31 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

i suggest you look at some high profile album pages then for example any of Mary J. Blige's, Doll Domination, etc. you will see that it is perfectly feasible to have such pages. plus "conception" is bad grammer, it should be concept. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 16:18, 31 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]
pardon me i didnt not see that you had already added the content. i apologise. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 16:38, 31 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

If you look at Dangerously In Love for example, under the "promotion and release" section all charted singles are mentioned !!! (Lil-unique1 (talk) 16:47, 31 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Article titles

[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Angel of Mine (Monica song) a different title by copying its content and pasting it into Angel of Mine. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. "Trust" (Keyshia Cole song)

[edit]

Please do not remove the redirect of Trust (Keyshia Cole song). Just because the song is being played on radio stations does not mean the song inherited notability per WP:NM. Monica said on her reality show "The Single" that's on PeachTreetv she said that "Trust" will be a bonus song on her album "Still Standing" so I don't know where you got "It's unknown that this single will be on the album" from. Thank You. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jayy4life (talkcontribs) 21:18, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

there is one small issue with listing "trust" as a single, you haven't provided a reference for it in the article. so although Monica might have confirmed this on "PeachTreetv" it is not verfiable. Unless you can provide a clickable reference for fans to check for themselves it seems controversial and non-verifiable and therefore should not be included. I'm not saying that you have made up the information but fans are having to take your word for it without a reference. Do you see my point? (Lil-unique1 (talk) 21:39, 8 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Editing Style

[edit]

Hello, Please can i ask that in the interest of courtesy and for ease of understanding when making edits like you have done to Human can you provide an WP:edit summary. this helps other editors identify what changes have been made to articles. I know myself that sometimes i forget to do so, but it does make things easier for other users if you can provide a brief summary of the additions/deletions or changes you have made to an article. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 21:46, 8 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

You are now recieving a second reminder about not using the WP:edit summary feature. Please make use of the edit summary feature to help explain why your edits have improved an article. It makes it easier for other editors to identify outstanding issues and also to target users who vandalise. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 17:29, 9 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I noticed that the editor who had added such extensive and unnecessarily minute detail regarding her crash and subsequent lawsuits has been blocked as a sock puppet. The personal life section of the article currently is skewed by undue weight on those aspects and I sincerely believe it is in need of intelligent copy-editing to put that content into perspective. I suspect if you decide to either do that or request it be done, that you won't get as much resistance. I don't think it should simply be removed however. I noticed you were the one who was trying to rein in the details so I thought I'd approach you about this. Thanks. Wildhartlivie (talk) 08:29, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.

Seeing as you are a important editor of the article, i`ll let you know that only a personnel section is needed to be a start and only a full personnel section (with technical personnmel) separate it for being a C or even B, i`ll let it unassesed until the section is added. Hey there. Concerning your recent revert of my edit to this article: I maintain that, even if the Germans are idiotic enough to say "die No Angels", that doesn't make "the No Angels" any more correct in English. Firstly, the German approach is clearly nonsensical and typical of their haphazard approach to "importing" English terms - they wouldn't say "die keinen Engel" in German, but anything goes when it comes to "Denglisch" - and secondly, the girls have never released anything under the name "The No Angels" or similar, so I don't see any English-language basis of evidence for the revert. German and English are two different languages, after all, not that that ever seems to matter on Wikipedia! Just my thoughts. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.92.246.225 (talk) 11:57, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Sandy unexpected.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Sandy unexpected.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 23:12, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Noboyo! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 674 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

How are you sure that she began recording it in 1992? Monica turned 12 on October 24, 1992. Only 49 days prior to 1993. From what I remember, she signed to Rowdy Records in 1993, when she was 12, so recording began following that. Also the sourced article does not provide a precise date of 1992 to 1994, as it just says that she recorded it between the ages of 12 and 14. Monica was 12 for nearly 10 months in 1993, so claiming 1992 without concrete proof in the source doesn't make sense. The same applies to her being 14 3/4 when the album was released on July 18, 1995, almost nine months after her 14th birthday on 10/24/1994. By looking at copyright registrations, in which the dates of song creation are provided, 1993-1995 is the correct recording period.Carmaker1 (talk) 20:13, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message. I'm not trying to undo your messsage but I'm just keeping with the guidelines on WP which say that you should use the same fitting format for pics. Aside from that, Rowland is not just a R&B singer - and she has done much more than singing, songwriting and acting - that's why she's cited as an entertainer. - User:Npoboyo 12:18, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nasri Atweh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I can't find significant coverage of this musician in reliable sources to meet the general notability guideline or WP:BAND.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ThemFromSpace 01:02, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:BrandyVibe.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:BrandyVibe.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 12:37, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No Angels

[edit]

Hello, I notice you're one of the main editors of the No Angels. Well somebody just posted that they're doing a new album, but i 'undid' this as it was uncoursed. I've had a little look, but sadly, my german isn't good (infact, i don't know anything) so i can't look to see if it's true. Do you know if it is? :D Also, i just came across this link, and it says Nadja has left the no angels (I've noticed the 'yet to be confirmed on the page': [3]. I know this link is old, but could it be true? Anyhow, i really hope she hasn't left! :( AtomicMarcusKitten (talk) 14:42, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just read from the edit you did that Nadja has left the group. Omg, i'm honestly, so upset! :( I reckon they might split up now, considering the 'welcome to the dance' ablum has like, half of the vocals by Nadja! aww, Vany should come back, but apparently she doesn't like the fame, haha... Thanks for uploading File:Brosis swhotime.jpg.
