The first rule in Wikipedia is that what is published must be based on independent, reliable sources. There are many other rules but this is the one of greatest importance. Why? Because, without such a rule, i.e. in a Wikipedia world in which sources were not required, no one has the first clue whether the material is reliable or not. The material you have insisted on publishing on the Romanisation of Chinese page is without any source at all. Moreover, you have no conceded that it is not a recognised system. Either of these two matters taken alone is sufficient to disqualify the material for publication but, what is more, there is not a single hit for the so-called system on a google search. The material thus looks rather like original work, which is the next rule of significance you need to watch out for because WP is not a place to publish one's own material. So it is time you relented with your edit reversions or come up with proper support for the material. And I do wish you happy editing once you get this sort of thing under your belt. sirlanz11:35, 19 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
