[edit]Hi Xiamatt! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Robbie Green that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 15:55, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks, i acidentally did it again, its kind of like a habit lol. I will try to avoid it from now on. Xiamatt (talk) 22:18, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- It's easily done. :) -Kj cheetham (talk) 12:16, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Philip H. Anselmo And The Illegals moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Philip H. Anselmo And The Illegals, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. PELE
[edit]Thank you for your contribution. I don't know anything about this "consesus", I didn’t even try to find this, because I don't care. What I know is that there can't be 57 as greatest player of all time. I didn’t write in order to say my opinion but to make clear what is OFFICIAL and what not. FIFA IS OFFICIAL, UEFA IS OFFICIAL, IFFHS IS OFFICIAL, World Soccer magazine is not. Γεώργιος Τερζής 2 (talk) 22:48, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Edipio. I noticed that you recently removed content from Parker Ito without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Edipio (talk) 15:41, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- Have you read the text? It should be obvious why i removed it Xiamatt (talk) 15:42, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- As I said in the warning above, you should provide a reason for removing large amounts of content and citations. Rudeness to other users is not appreciated.Edipio (talk) 15:45, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Parker Ito has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. Edipio (talk) 15:43, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Elizium23 (talk) 16:12, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please explain why you are reverting edits by Aliffaizul13 . Drmies (talk) 17:14, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

- Then say so in the edit summary. Same thing here, in these edits--I have to look at the edit, and then at your contributions where I saw you left a warning to that user, before I know what's going on. Elizium23 asked you to write up summaries two weeks ago, and you're still not doing it? Drmies (talk) 15:31, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

Your edits re photograph of Denzel Washington
[edit]Hello Xiamatt -- Regarding this edit and a number of others like it, your edit summary said simply "other version was better". I am an experienced photo editor and what you meant is not obvious to me. Please explain why you think the old version is "better" than the new version. Somebody clearly cropped the original image from a group picture in which Washington was caught off-guard, glancing to his right and pressed against the person on his left, causing his eyes to be misaligned and shoulder to be awkwardly raised. I believe that the new version adequately corrects these problems. Do you disagree with me and, if so, why? Respectfully -- WikiPedant (talk) 17:56, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, the eyes just looked unnatural for me. It could have also been because i knew the original picture for a long time, i dont know, but something just felt off. Imo the original looks perfectly fine, i dont really think the correction is necessary. I'd like to know what others think about it. could you maybe take this to the talk page Xiamatt (talk) 18:07, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Xiamatt -- After a little web research, it turns out that Washington's misaligned eye is indeed real. He is actually known for being mildly walleyed (a condition known as exotropia). Maybe that's why the realigned eyes didn't look right to you. You were right. Anyhow, I changed my image back to the walleyed version, but did leave my other edit of his upper body -- he definitely doesn't really have a deformed shoulder. I'll put the new version of the image back on a few pages, and see whether anything happens. Regards -- WikiPedant (talk) 00:10, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

Über alles
[edit]There is no Über alles, there is only Über Alles. What you moved was Über alles (album). Deutschlandlied is listed in Category:Missing redirects again. MB 14:38, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- Ah ok. I've created a redirect for "Über alles" now, so I'm guessing it should work now? Xiamatt (talk) 14:41, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- BTW i also moved the Über Alles (disambiguation) to Über alles (disambiguation) because of the spelling, maybe thats why it initially didn't work Xiamatt (talk) 14:43, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, no errors now. MB 14:53, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Sangdeboeuf. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Lisa Ann, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Sites such as IAFD that host user-generated content are not reliable. Thanks.
