[edit]Rodríguez made her WTA Tour debut at the 2013 Abierto Mexicano, partnering Marcela Zacarías in doubles.[1] The Mexican pair won their first-round match against fellow Mexican wildcards Ximena Hermoso and Ana Sofía Sánchez,[1] only to lose in the quarterfinals to the Spanish fourth seeds Lourdes Domínguez Lino and Arantxa Parra Santonja,[1] who went on to win the title.[1]
Ranked No. 300, she received a singles main draw wildcard for the newly upgraded WTA 500 Monterrey Open.
