Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

This user is the other sockpuppet from Asphonixm a.k.a. Cordelia Hasanah with the same edit pattern and duckling. Re-created Zakaria bin Muhammad Amin in draft. Ariandi Lie Let's talk 11:14, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The defining characteristic of this sockpuppet is its recurrent activity of editing articles related to Zakaria family or any content linked to Bengkalis. This consistent behavior serves as a clear identifier for this particular sockpuppet account.  Looks like a duck to me. Ckfasdf (talk) 00:32, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@The Wordsmith, in addition to it, OnAir21 is very likely to be the sockpuppet of Asphonixm. Please look into it more carefully. 140.0.19.54 (talk) 07:50, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Floquenbeam, please help. 140.0.19.54 (talk) 07:54, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have no relationship or affiliation with that person, I don't know who this Asphonixm is, I am not his bot. OnAir21 (talk) 08:55, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • A checkuser check might be called for here. Not every editor who works on articles on a specific subject can be assumed to be a sock. It's a red flag but isn't confirmation. Liz Read! Talk! 23:42, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    Overall, I agree with your statement. However, considering that topics related to the Zakaria family are quite niche and have only been edited by sockpuppets in the past, any new editor showing interest or making their first edit on this topic would raise a significant red flag and almost confirm suspicion. This has been demonstrated by the history of past sockpuppets, which have also been confirmed by checkusers. Ckfasdf (talk) 01:09, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was pinged here, but I'm afraid I have no insight. I have no idea what Asphonixm's editing style/interests are, I just blocked them because of threatening behavior. Sorry. --Floquenbeam (talk) 13:27, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Behavioral evidence is strongly suggestive of a connection to the other Asphonixm socks, more than enough to justify a block.  Blocked and tagged. Closing. The WordsmithTalk to me 04:48, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

This guy's frenetic article creation, article editing habits, and focus on Indonesian figure from Riau, as well as New England socialites at the very least raises a lot of questions. Allan Nonymous (talk) 21:13, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

His editing behavior is unbefitting for a newly created account, particularly given his proficiency with Wikipedia syntax, which is uncommon for new editors. His first edit involved modifying articles created by N. Alicia J, another suspected sockpuppet, further amplifying suspicions. Additionally, his particular interest in biography articles, such as old Indonesian actresses, adds another red flag.  Looks like a duck to me. Ckfasdf (talk) 23:22, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@The Wordsmith and Courcelles: it'll be very appreciated if you could look up this issue. Thank you. Ckfasdf (talk) 00:47, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • The new account's precocious editing is (as the kids are saying these days) pretty sus, and there's some overlap with known Asphonixm socks. However, some of the more telltale signs of this sockmaster (which I won't list here for WP:BEANS reasons) are missing. On the basis of what is here, wer'e a little short of sufficient evidence to justify a block. no Closing without action, but there's no prejudice against opening a new SPI if there is future sock-like activity from this account. •  IP blocked I can't say for sure that the IP is Asphonixm, but I can say that the behavioral evidence strongly indicates a connection whether the puppet is made from wool or meat. The WordsmithTalk to me 04:54, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
