[edit]- 1 Dragonfly Landing, 4704 Garfield Ave, ☏ +1-630-271-4100. 11AM-7PM daily. Dragonfly Landing is a family-friendly attraction and splash park located at PrairieWalk Pond. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year, it features a splash pad with interactive water jets, giant colorful flowers that mist water, and a shelter with a living green roof. There are also nature-themed play structures such as a tree house, leaping lily pads, and cat tail swingers. Free.
- PrairieWalk Pond, Burlington Ave & Garfield Ave, ☏ +1-630-271-4100. A 4.5 acre recreation area in Downtown Lisle. Next to the 2.5 acre pond are benches, picnic tables, rock outcrops, and a gazebo providing places to sit and watch the wildlife. In addition, there is a playground, grassy area good for picnicking, and a "take a book, leave a book" little library. During the summer months, from 8-11PM, the fountains, which help prevent algae and circulate water, turn different colors. With over 100 varieties of native prairie grasses, flowers, and trees, in addition to being certified as a Monarch Butterfly waystation, your camera will receive a fine workout here. Fishing is prohibited. Free.
