bull up (third-person singular simple present bulls up, present participle bulling up, simple past and past participle bulled up)

  1. (darts) To throw darts, aiming at a bullseye, to determine who goes first in a match.
  2. (UK, slang, military) To polish (boots) thoroughly; by extension, to prepare other military kit, e.g. firearms or uniforms; to clean or organize more generally.
