Etymology

From New Latin diūrēsis, from Ancient Greek διουρέω (diouréō, “to urinate”) + -σις (-sis).

Morphologically, δでるたῐουρέω (diouréō) can be analysed as δでるたιいおた- (di-) + οおみくろんὐρέω (ouréō).
