“We are suppliers of ABS/ESC for all car models that AvtoVAZ produces today. We have also started working with the GAZ group and are negotiating with other car manufacturers in Russia, as well as with foreign manufacturers who have their own plants in the Russian Federation”, – reported the editors of “RG” at the “Itelma” nuclear power plant.
ABS production started in summer 2023, Itelma will start ESC production in November.
“Today, the technological production process is already 100% mastered. At the end of this year, machining of valve body parts and the production of electronic modules will begin. Next year we will start using Russian fastening materials and insulation. And already in 2025 we intend to achieve 100% localization of all ESC parts,” Alexey Vorobyov, general director of the Itelma NPP, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Previously, RG wrote that Itelma has reduced its dependence on imports by switching to national resistances.
