Speech By Raj Reddy Myakala on the Pro Telugu SPARC Brain storming on 22nd June 2008

Good Evening all Pro Telugu and friends gathered here, it’s great to see you all in this moment to share and discuss the Issues mentioned- 1. Social Change- Role of NRI’s, 2. Education System in AP-Issues and Solutions, 3. Health care System- In AP, 4. Role of NRI’s in Integrated Development of AP.

The change is permanent accept the change

We all should involve in a meaningful way in the social change, it will not come in one day, or one year—We all NRI’s encourage the systematic change in the social behaviour of the people—the society is not the walls, not the trees or plants its we and we all human beings

A good vision will bring the social change and it’s required, participation in the visionary for Andhrapradesh should be our goal (Short to medium and then long term).

We all should develop a vision, which should involve to reflects the deep shared vision and values IF your vision is for a Year Cultivate the Flowers, If your vision  10 years cultivate trees If your vision is ETERNAL cultivate the HUMAN BEINGS-That must be our goal and Role 4’ Basic consequences under the control of social change

OPPORTUNITIES (training, development, perks and other benefits) FINANCIAL (income, allowances or penalties) PSYCHIC (recognition, approval, respect and credibility) RESPONSIBILITY (scope and authority)

We can as valued members of the society can prepare Guidelines (principles and policies) We should also judge the consequence Specifically (good and bad, natural and logical) when we involve in meaningful way. We can also gather some Resources (human, financial, technical/organisational) for the social change. And we can measure and expect Desired Results (what and when) and question the system for more results if they are not satisfactory—or change the system/party/Government. To change the system change your self by being

Be Proactive Begin with the End in Mind Put First Things First Think Win/Win Seek First to Understand…Then to be understood Synergize yourself and your neighbors and your village, your state and then the country—then the world will change automatically

Educational System in AP—Issues and Solutions.

Being ignorant is not so much a shame as being unwilling to learn to do things the Right Way Educate everybody- A Broad based Education The best Education without Commonsense is worthless need education for survival, education with global objective and sensitivity. We don’t need to improve 1000% in any one area, all we need is to improve 1% in 1000 different areas which is a lot easier---That is Winning Principle Everything is difficult before it becomes Easy We cannot runaway from our Problems; only losers quit and give up

We need to have BENCH MARKS, GOALS,PRIORITIES,FOCUS,ENTHUSIASM,STANDARDS,CONSISTENCY,SPIRITS in the education system

Health care System- In AP The pit pals in the Health care system

Fear of Failure No Plan Lack of Formalized Goals No Timely Changes Procrastination No Responsibilities Lack of Focus, being muddled Lack of Commitment Lack of Training Lack of Persistence Lack of Priorities-----and insensible towards the humanity and human life.

The system has to change… Even if you put Good people in bad System the Results will be bad, so Result Oriented System Change, which allow winning edge –All have to be based on the Principles of Winning Winning Characters Winning Relationships Winning Agreements…

People managed system in the Healthcare should come---involve the society…make them responsible. Everybody should participate. Every village in AP should have at least one hospital

We need free medical and health care facilities. How to achieve is a debate. But is possible IT is Hard by Yard but by Inch, it’s a Cinch So come forward to have a wonderful and healthy and happier society.

Role of NRI’s in Integrated Development of AP.

Today’s Burning question before us??? Today we should question our self

How do we Judge our role in the change of all these Systems? How does our Value System Change? Or we Change the System What is our Greatest Commitment? As valued Citizens of AP(India)

My answers to the Questions!!!

We Judge with Constant Exposure we have and guide with patience. What is intolerable becomes Acceptable and Translates into Involvement Is the Time to Re-Evaluate to go forward that must be our commitment! And our commitment implies

Dependability,Reliability,Predictability, Consistency,Caring, Empathy Sense of Duty,Sincerity,Character,Integrity,Loyalty

Thank you for giving this opportunity.
