そのコメント

A performance in February 1900 with Henri Falcke at the piano and the composer conducting is mentioned in the March 3 issue of that year's Revue politique et littéraire: revue bleue (p.284).

Instrumentation and movement headings from the Free Library of Philadelphia, Fleischer Collection library catalog entry.

First movement begins in C minor but is primarily in C major.

Seems not- 4 of 5 pages of the reduced score version of the first movement are in minor. In a private recording, I'm told, the total time taken up by the overall-minor-mode music before the change to C major at 3 bars after (3) is most of the first movement, not a small part of it. So no, it seems the opposite (I think I wrote the above statement, so I'm contradicting myself, but so goes.) C minor it is.- Schissel

Composed 1897 April - 1898 October - see WorldCat.
