Pre-pandemic, the cobblestones outside of Pike Place Market were bustling with crowds of people exploring, eating and experiencing one of Seattle's most iconic landmarks.
Now, for the first time, you can dine on those same cobblestones.
There's been an increased demand for outdoor dining because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the summer, more than 20 market restaurants have adapted by utilizing street-sides and rooftop balconies. Pike Place announced Thursday they've set up three new outdoor dining locations — on the cobblestones, in the Secret Garden and on Western Avenue.
"Restaurants in Pike Place Market are making it easy for you to enjoy our amazing summer weather and the Market's freshest dishes all while rejuvenating at our beloved Market," they stated in a press release.
These dining options offer a new, unique way to experience Pike Place — some with views of the Puget Sound and the Seattle skyline. Here's the full list of restaurants offering outdoor dining right now:
