Encyclopedia of Alabama
The Encyclopedia of Alabama is a free, online reference resource on Alabama’s history, culture, geography, and natural environment. It was developed by the Alabama Humanities Foundation and Auburn University and with the generous financial support of its founding sponsors.
Honors College
The University Honors College at Auburn is part of a long tradition. Samford Swarthmore College established the first honors program in this country in 1922, using as its model the Oxford tutorial system, in which small classes of students and faculty studied the Greek and Latin classics. Other models for honors programs and classes include the Socratic dialogues, the German seminars, and the European guild system.
Miller Writing Center
The Miller Writing Center offers peer tutoring to all writers for all kinds of writing, such as essays for composition, lab reports for chemistry, PowerPoint presentations for economics, and ePortfolios.
OIT Computer Labs
Office of Information Technology computing labs are located conveniently throughout campus in many academic buildings. These labs are available to all Auburn University students and employees on a first-come, first-serve basis. To use the OIT computing labs, you will need your User Name and your password.
OIT Help Desk
The OIT HelpDesk is available to help students when they have technology-related questions or problems. You can call, e-mail, or just drop by.

Study Partners is a free peer tutoring program offered to currently enrolled Auburn University students and sponsored by the Office of Academic Support.
