Media Production Studio

This sound dampened room is designed for individuals or small groups to record and edit audio for podcasts, music, and more using professional equipment.

The studio has both a PC and a Mac as well as:
  • Focusrite Scarlett 18i8
  • Arturia KeyLab 88 MKII
  • Rode NT-1A
  • Shure SM7B
  • sE Electronics Reflexion Filter
  • Behringer X-Touch Universal Control Surface
  • Sennheiser HD-280 Headphones
  • Yamaha HS8 Monitors

As well as the software:
  • Garage Band
  • Pro Tools
  • FL Studio
  • Logic Pro

The Media Production Studio is open to students, faculty, and staff of Temple University, Monday -  Friday until 5:00pm with bookings starting at 9:00am, priority is given to faculty for class assignments and research.

Staff will monitor the space from the main space through a window. No food or drinks will be allowed in the space. All A/V equipment must stay inside the space unless otherwise noted.

Checking Out Equipment

Patrons can check out additional microphones to be used in the Scholars Studio Media Production Studio.

Users may bring their own computers to record directly onto, but are responsible for connecting their own hardware with the recording hardware.
