Global bot status for Lin yue chang bot

小躍こおどり 11:24, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Not done. Your bot doesn't have any edits yet. Global bot status is meant for bots that have proven themselves on many projects. I suggest running a bot at your home wiki first and requesting bot flags locally. --Erwin 09:46, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Global bot status for GrouchoBot

My GrouchoBot operates already as interwiki-bot on -de-, -fr-, -en- and -nl-, but not globally. I wish to extend its range also to other wikiepediae. I will used it in autonomous mode for interwiki's only. The bot is/will be used for AWB, but only on -nl-. Thanks in advance! Groucho NL 11:13, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Done. Kind regards, —DerHexer (Talk) 12:04, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Bot status requests

JosephBot@trwikinews

Seems to check out. Granted. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 15:01, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

BotReversor@ca.wikibooks & @ca.wikiquote

We haven't got bureaucrats in these projects, but I'm sysop in both. They've got only one vandalism bot and the rest of the Catalan projects have already done it. Thanks. --Xavier D. (talk!) 15:24, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Both accounts only have 1 edit each. Please create some test edits using bot code so we can all know that the bot works as expected. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 20:23, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Still only one edit each... --Daniel Mayer (mav) 21:12, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
Been over a month and still only one edit each. Request marked as "Not done" - archive. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 14:42, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Thijs!bot@nv.wikipedia

This bot has been running on nv.wiki for a while but never marks anything with "b", and doesn't have bot-status on nv.wiki. Is this a global bot? If not (and if there are no known issues), could someone get it to mark its edits w/ "b" in RecentChanges. Thanks. Seb az86556 09:30, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Update: I see global bot-status was rejected last year. How can it still run without local bot status? Seb az86556 09:48, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
The bot now has the global bot flag. —Pathoschild 09:55:52, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
thxSeb az86556 10:09, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

MondalorBot@skwiki

Per the global bot policy (automatic approval: interwiki bot and 100 edits). Thanks! Mondalor 16:08, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Not done by stewards, done locally. Mondalor 15:33, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

GaeserBot@kawikipedia

I asked for the bot status in ka wiki, but the bureaucrat has wikibreak again, and doesn't seem to return earlier than in a month.. The bot has giant number of beta edits. Mainly it will do all tasks, pywikipediabot does, and some AWB tasks either. Regards, Gaeser 14:48, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

I removed ka-wikibooks and ka-wiktionary b/c the only linked discussion is on ka.wikipedia and the sr-request template was broken by that. Also, there is only one real vote on that page (a support vote) and some banter about rudeness. I'm not comfortable stepping in to grant a bot flag when standard bot policy does not apply, there is a crat (however inactive), and there isn't clear community approval yet. You may want to "reboot" the local discussion. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 14:37, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Standard bot policy already applies, but your bot edits to replace template codes seem to be beyond what are permitted for automatic approval.--Jusjih 01:50, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
You know, you may archive this request :). There will be bureaucrat elections in a day or tw, and I hope that won't bother you any more:) Thank's, anyway. :)--Gaeser 18:42, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Then I mark it as not done.--Jusjih 03:06, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Vahid_bot@ckb.wikipedia

we need a bot in our new wiki project, but there is no user with bureaucrat right for give him bot flag. I'm not sure its correct to make a request here but its just what I can do. --Marmzok 19:39, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Could you please explain what you want to do with your bot? In any case it would be best to make at least 100 test edits first and to leave a message at w:ckb:Wikipedia:دەروازەی بەکارھێنەران about running a bot. After about a week you can then come back here to request the bot flag. Note that you can run your bot without a flag for now. --Erwin 09:52, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I thought He need the flag for begin edits. I asked him to start his work, after some test edits I leave a message. tanX --Marmzok 21:35, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Looks like test edits are now done. I suggest granting the local bot flag. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 18:04, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Your bot incorrectly changed the interwiki link to fawiki here and the edit was reverted. Please make sure to fix this issue. --Meno25 21:05, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
The above issue needs to be addressed by the bot operator soon. Otherwise I suggest archiving this request as not granted. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 14:40, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Not done per Daniel. --Erwin 18:11, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

Crochet.david.bot@ruwikiversity

The bot is with the flag on most wikversities. Now it came to ru, but there are no bureaucrats yet. --Arseny1992 07:50, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Did you do 1000 test edits as requested on ruwikiversity? (You might double-check if they meant 100 instead of 1000... 1000 seems like an awful lot)  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 21:05, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
Ok, 300 test edits. SergeyJ 06:31, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
204 editings are formally made, it is possible to wait to 300. But it is possible and not to wait - to the discretion of the steward. SergeyJ 06:39, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
The community wants 300 test edits, so we must wait until that threshold is reached. I just checked, and the bot is still not there. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 14:47, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Still not 300 edits. I suggest archiving this request as not done. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 02:34, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
I think, it is already possible to give this flag. We will not be very formal. SergeyJ 19:06, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Since it was you who mentioned 300 edits on ru.wikiversity, I went ahead and granted the flag. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 00:54, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

MauritsBot@nvwikipedia

Operates w/o a botflag and doesn't even have any contact email or linked userpage. It's not a global bot (at least not listed as such). Thanks. Seb az86556 19:25, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

Done. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 01:47, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

KåreBot@nowikisource

We are only two, somewhat active contributors on s:no. This nomination has not had any countervotes for almost a year. The bot-operator is an admin on both s:no and wikt:no, and his bot has been granted bot status on the latter. V85 15:45, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
