Reason(s): User EL Banker Lingvistic is currently globally locked (since February 21, 2020) for crosswiki abuse. On February 22, the new account Casaalba was registered, using very similar patterns of behavior that suggest sock puppetry. We have strong reasons to believe that this is a lock evasion attempt and checkuser could help us to take the necessary measures by providing a confirmation based on technical evidence. Reason(s): Getting plentiful spambots at Wikianiawiki, and if someone has the time I would be interested to know whether we have a concentrated set of IP addresses at play that we could put in some preventative measures, or whether it is more general rubbish and just needs to be tolerated. Plenty to see at

Generally new users that create at the wiki are spambots, wikimedians will come from wikilinks through the WMF infrastructure

Reason(s): Loycarmo has recently been blocked on English wikipedia for vandalism ([1]). However his socks have continued to vandalize the Chinese wikipedia, all edits within days of each other: for example on the pages Caucasoid race ([2], [3], [4]), Mongoloid race ([5], [6], [7]). Their habits include deleting maps for no reason. People have agreed that based on their destructive habits they are not here to create a wiki.

Kevin Smith Chen has restored the edits of DST763291 on Sino-Tibetan languages ([8]) and SCP-2000 on the Indian Nagas people ([9]).

Mys_721tx has restored the vandalism of DST763291 on the Indian Kirati people and Indo-European topics ([10], [11], [12]).

They also vandalize pages on Australia, for example DST763291 restoring the edits of 123.243.61.173 ([13], [14], [15]).

They have made a number of destructive edits on linguistics and ethnicity, including Indo-Europeans ([16]), North Europeans ([17]), Aryans ([18]).

These people all speak English. They do not edit at the same time. Many of their usernames are similar: Mys_721tx, DST763291, SCP-2000 are similar random strings of characters.

Reason(s): Similar pattern of edits are been found. Multiple accounts are created to validate proofread pages on this Wikisource. Automated scripts are used to mass OCR and then are grossly validated using these sock accounts. Purely against the normal working of Wikisource project and clear Vandalism. The Project has no large active community and active administrator to handle vandalism and sock puppetry.

@Sotiale:, Additional information which is needed while confirming this case is, both the confirmed accounts are not sock-puppets of each other but, they are two individuals who use the same machine to edit because they live in same house, because they are married to each other!. And all others are totally unrelated as they are different continents(metaphorically!). I know all of them personally as I have met them in many offline wiki events and even otherwise. this request was clear case of harassment to all of the users active on mrwikisource. I request stewards to have a look at w:mr:Special:Diff/1744503/1744902 where User:Tiven2240 is requesting blocking of all of them here. its total missuse of all of the tools. @QueerEcofeminist: I have already suggested the possibility of not being sockpuppet accounts for his block request(Please see my talkpage). In fact, it's technically the same, but if the two are relatives, we can't see them as simple sockpuppets. Additionally, I have already described it as 'from technical POV', which opens up behavior or other possibilities. It should be noted that it is not possible to view it as sockpuppets on this basis alone. Therefore, if proper reason such as behavior pattern is not proved, it will be difficult to block only with the result of this checkuser. He tried to convince admins that the article should not be deleted and then a new user (Marshallwoburn) removes the delete template from the article. This is a technical point of view. There is no guarantee that this is actually the user or not. It should be discussed locally. Reason(s): Hello, I am currently blocked on eswiki, but I contribute enwiki every day. Today I connected and noticed a message on my talk page on eswiki. This message was left by Eduardosalg, a Wikipedia administrator, who alleges that I have evaded my blocking through the user Gracrys and did not even request a query in WP:SVU, he simply blocked the other user's account alleging that a checkuser confirmed that it was about me [19]. Since I can't defend myself or edit my own talk page, this is totally unfair, because I did not actually evade my block.
