What I'd like to hear from you is a detailed explanation of what subjects of pages they edited and why they were similar. "Editing pages in the same field" and "doing minor edits" is not enough explanation they are sockpuppets. On what subject, and how they edited, were there such doubts? I think there must have been an obvious reason for you to think of them as sockpuppets, even though it was possible by chance. Just some comments: MCC214 is still banned from editing this page by stewards, so they cannot answer here, someone had to ask them locally and help them post here. In addition, anyone who is transferring requests here should ideally be accountable to questions regarding their requests, and should be able to substantiate any requests. Making it clearer, we should check with them what are the reasons they want to check, and then think is it valid / not valid locally. When there is a good reasons that we are convinced that a check is needed, and willing to answer any clarifications from stewards, we then will transfer the request from HAM to here. Comment MCC214 had contacted me on my talkpage, asking me to assist in this. I am not going to risk being called proxying for banned user, but interested parties can see this section on my talkpage. They seems to say this is an LTA, and according to their words, they don't want to explain more, and its obvious is an LTA from zhwp. I then wonder if they are so sure that it's an LTA why not ask for local blocks and why need CU, did a local sysop decline the request or whatsoever? MCC214 has explained in w:zh:WP:HAM. He said: "They create many category, create redirect page that from English to Chinese, create some redirect page that have similar meaning and create/edit the articles about golf." Then one of the accounts above has been blocked because the sysop thought that is might be w:zh:WP:SuiMai, but for the other one, there isn't a very clear evidence to confirm that it is a sock puppet of w:zh:WP:SuiMai(or any other else) and block the account. --Yining Chen (Talk) 00:39, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

Before proceeding with this investigation, I would like to comment on a post that made me very frustrated.

They(stewards) do not want to help investigate, they don't want to cooperate to stop sockpuppets destruction behavior.

I've been trying to do the best I can to help solve the sockpuppets problem facing zhwiki community. And I tried to look more closely at and know about LTAs attacking zhwiki community. That's why I know the name of LTAs on zhwiki well. I know, of course, they are just parts, and just the frequent occurrences on SRCU. I think I have been trying to do it quickly and accurately so that there is no discomfort from you, and I think I have handled it well despite some difficulties. Sotiale, your efforts are highly appreciated by our community. MCC214 is a Hong-Kong tad with limited writing capability in Chinese or English; we even do not understand his Chinese somehow. I have no intention in getting involved into a meaningless quarrel but want point out something perhaps not so obvious to people who are unfamiliar with the editorial environment of ZH Wikipedia. It has been a practice for quite some time locally and is particularly true in this case that the accusation of sock puppetry is supported by a series of "Duck Tests". In my opinion, the low threshold of certain local admins may have resulted in the wrongful accusation of accounts in more than one instance thus linking these accounts one by one and all the way back to SiuMai may be a bit far fetched. Rather I would urge for the examination of the contribution history of Ca11ist0, ABX456 and any other accounts recently deemed related to see if there are in fact any evidence of destructive behaviour that would warrant indefinite blocking. Personally I see no obvious objection to this request locally. The reason why not all accounts were found is simple. The ranges used by this user are very crowded and so wide. Also, it's not a request for Group 2 users. Sockpuppets found by chance are not completely investigated, since they are judged based on their association with the original requested accounts.
