Hi there! I’m Komi_Akiyama. I’m a Dutch anime fan from the 90s who grew up with anime like Pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Dragon Ball Z.
I got back into watching anime in 2019, and I've watched a lot of different shows and movies since then. My favourite studios are Studio Ghibli and Kyoto Animation and my favourite anime genre is slice-of-life, although I certainly also enjoy watching shonen from time to time. I also really like reading manga and occasionally light novels as well. I watch a lot of anime, but that's basically because there is a ton of stuff that interests me and I currently have a job that allows me to have a lot of free time =)

* What's currently on my watching list are anime that air weekly or once every few days. I actively try to keep up with this list. Also on this list are older anime that I am currently watching, mostly one to two at a time.
* I am a completionist: if I start to watch a certain franchise, I try to watch every database entry in that franchise. Sometimes it's hard or even impossible to find entries though.
* In principle I am a non-dropper. Even if I don't enjoy an anime, I try to finish it anyway. What's currently on my dropped list are anime that I watched a long time ago but never bothered to finish and probably won't in the near future.
* I use my on-hold list for anime that don't air weekly or anime that haven't dropped a new episode in a long time. If a weekly anime takes a break of a week or longer, I will also temporarily move it to the on-hold list.
* I try to keep my plan to watch list clear and organized. That's why there's not a ton of anime in there; I like to keep it uncluttered. The anime that I put on plan to watch are mostly things that will air in the near future, so I generally don't add older, already finished anime that I want to watch to it.
I don't rate anything anymore (hence the 0.00 mean score), because it got tiring and I generally don't enjoy rating things. Before I wiped away my grades, my mean score for anime was about a 6.24.
