And how could someone hate video games? They hate anything thats not a AAA game? That's just very narrow minded of them. They need Valkyria Chronicles in their life. I do too. I might replay through it again. Pokemon and Valkyria Chronicles are my two most replayed games. What game have you played the most?

Yes, I used to learn Japanese and honestly, I've watched Ghost in the Shell over 15 years ago and I don't remember anything about it. So I can't tell you what I liked about it the most.

In my opinion, it's just that the quality has decreased and most of them produce it for the sake of popularity and maybe also because the target audience is mostly teenagers and under so they just recycle it. &etc

I didn't know the PS5 flopped in Japan!! I also didn't know they preferred to play video games on the go. They are more convenient that way though, so it makes sense.

The FF7 Remake part 2 being ps5 exclusive was smart from a business angle. Final Fantasy has a huge fanbase of loyal followers that would buy a console just to be able to play the game.. I might be guilty.
I just got over having Covid again and while I was getting better, I got news of a close friend passing. It's hard to sink in that it is real sometimes. Very depressing. She had only just turned 25. So I have not been in the mood to do too many things lately.
I started Fate/Apocrypha anime and I just got the spiderman game for the ps5 and will start that soon, probably.

I did in the past during university. My bachelor degree was asian studies , which basically only was japanese and mandarim but i had the opportunity to not only study the languages but to study their culture, history, geography and so on. Later during my masters I focused on chinese and won a scholarship to study in shanghai. So since there i stopped studying japanese... I kind of wanna get back to it!
About ghost in the shell... i dont see that in ages i cant even tell, but it wasnt my favs even back in the day...i can see you watch many old school anime I really need to rewatch again the classics, anime nowadays dont bring me as much joy as before when i was a kid - i dont know if it is cause i am older or because anime are just not made like before haha.
