The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.

But it will improve a lot afterwards.

Hey, I got a notification saying you quoted me on that topic about being blue, and I decided to look at your anime list because I'm pretty nosy like that :).

Just wanted to drop a little comment saying your taste in anime seem pretty cool and similar to mine. If you really enjoyed Aoi Bungaku, I'd recommend watching Mouryou no Hako, it's a bit slow at the start, but it becomes very mind-warping and interesting. The first episode really threw me off at the start, and even though some (maybe 2-3 episodes) can be pretty exhausting, the finale that is built up is really worth it, it's truly something else.

I've been meaning to give Ergo Proxy a proper try, and seeing as you rated it a 10 and our tastes are kinda similar, I feel like I'll give it another go, after I finish watching Ghost in the Shell, of course :)

Oh, and as with all people, I have to give an obligatory mention to Berserk, if you haven't watched that show, I highly recommend it, don't be put off by the art, because the art is what actually gives it a lot of it's charm, and the story is absolutely amazing, I've not come across anything like it :)
