Both share a similar female/male lead that must dance around the concept of immortality and vampirism in their exploration of each others' feelings.
Besdies the obvious association of creatures needing blood to survive, Blood+ and Vampire Knight also both follow the plot of self-sacrifice to protect those you love.
Fully recommend you watch Vampire Knight...touching.
Both have to do with Vampires. Main character is a female. Vampire living in a human world trying to make things right for their own reasons. There's a bit of romance in Blood + , but not as much as Vampire Knight. Main character doesn't remember their past in the first few episodes. -Turning others into Vampires :]

Both deal with vampires and both deal with love. They have good fighting scenes between their enemies and each have an evil person within their family who is trying to get them killed. If you are into bloody romances and killing, basically a trilling anime that will keep you on the edge of your seat, please do watch it and enjoy it ^^

Both are similar in the way that:
there is a young girl, who lost her memory as a vampire/monster, and a romantic type of man comes into the picture to protect her, yet she also falls in love with another person who is close to her.
the only difference is Blood + has more action.
Both anime's have vampires, action, and romance. They also both have good character development and story lines, and you can't help but fall for one or more of the characters. If you enjoy one you'll most likely enjoy the other!
Both animes are 'dark'. Yuuki and Saya have a past that they can't remember because it was sealed. In the series they discover their true natures and help battle evil. In blood+ the main focus is on the plot and the battles. Saya's feelings slowly develop throughout the story. Meanwhile in Vampire Knight Yuuki knows her feelings from the beginning and Kaname knows his as well. Dark pasts, shocking secrets and emotional struggles. There is no better recommendation for Vampire Knight or Blood+.
Both are vampire themed stories staring a female mc. And both share elements of action as well as romance in it too and also some really nice looking spooky art and character designs too.
