For what this is, it's actually compiled quite well not everything is as fleshed out as it is in the anime, like Kirito's reason for being a solo player and the tension he has with the guilds, Instead this choose to solely focus on Kirito's and Asuna's story which works in it's favor.
The two bond over a cooked rabbit, that Kirito can't cook due to having insufficient cooking skills and Asuna has maxed out hers. From there the two team up on a few questions and we see them slowly build to become a couple. It gets a bit weird when they become a mommy and daddy for Yui and the whole thing happens but it's a sweet enough story and fits the tone of the manga.
That ending is still unbelievably amazing, the whole thing with Kayaba, perfect.
