레이디 가가의 Just Dance와 Poker Face의 히트 이후 레이디 가가의 인지도가 급상승해서인지 기존의 싱글들보다 가파른 상승세를 보였다. 그리고 2009년 MTV VMA에서 역대급 공연을 펼친 결과, 빌보드 핫 100 6위와 영국 차트 4위를 기록했다. 미국 내 360건 이상, 전 세계적으로 600만 건 이상이 팔려나가면서 명실공히 레이디 가가의 최고의 히트곡 중 하나로 자리매김하고 있다.

2009년 MTV VMA 에서 역대 레이디 가가의 최고의 단일곡 무대로 남은 Paparazzi를 공연했다. 하이라이트 부분에서 피를 흘리며 처절히 노래를 부르다 죽음을 맞이하는 연기를 펼치며 VMA 역대 최고의 공연 3위에 올랐다. 레이디 가가는 이 공연에 대해 극성 파파라치들에게 시달리다 결국 죽음을 맞이한 다이애나 왕세자비를 표현했다고 설명했다.
