Q&A with Pamela Romanowsky

How did you get involved with this project?
I came to this book as a casual reader. I got it from the same bookstore you see James [Franco] signing books in at the start of the movie.

Q&A with Chris Smith

Is it correct that you had a very small crew, during production? Was that always the plan?
Chris Smith: When we first went out to Robert Downey Jr.’s house in the Hamptons, he said that we couldn’t bring a crew. Which I only found out two days beforehand.

Q&A with Brie Larson

Can you talk about finding this role and the decision to take it?
I had read the book maybe a year before the script was sent to me and I just loved it. A book hadn’t suspended my disbelief in that way, and I’m always reading. I love to read.
