Ontario Provincial Police in North Bay released a video Friday of a three-vehicle crash in Callander, Ont., caused by a collision with a deer.

The crash involving two vehicles and a commercial motor vehicle took place June 20 around 11 p.m. on Highway 11 near Highway 654.

The Nipissing District Ambulance Services attended the scene but, fortunately, police said there were no injuries.

“It was determined that there was an initial collision between the first vehicle and a deer,” the OPP said in a news release.

“As a result, that vehicle then stopped in the live lane of the highway. Another vehicle stopped behind it. Then, a following commercial motor vehicle attempted to avoid it, but collided and eventually came to rest over the guardrails.”
