She prefers to stay at home and doesn't go out a lot- all of her friends even know that she only goes to three places: the public market, the church and her house. She misses her husband a lot and worries about being alone, especially after witnessing a brutal murder at the public market. However, things change after she meets Kiko and his partner Glenda, a couple who lost their home due to their demolition. She allows the two to stay and rent the empty bungalow next door after he gave her a helping hand from a snatcher who tried to steal her purse. As days pass by, she gets attracted to him, and the same can be said about him, much to Glenda's chagrin.
