Americo is disenchanted with camping; and Jack is uneasy around the younger, ambitious men. But their time in Greenland is limited, and it's time for the miners to begin prospecting. Eric's research shows that the creeks and rocky slopes in the area holds precious minerals; this leads the group to a nearby glacier basin. It's a race to the bottom after the team splits into two groups: Gator, John and Eric; and Jack, Chad and Americo. The teams act quickly as ominous skies and clouds move in. But for stragglers, Josh and Jesse, the early bid doesn't necessarily get the worm. Tensions rise as the brothers take their time to get ready in the morning, attempting to make up for it with their ambitious attitudes.
