Fun talk:Nebraska
I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get a mention for Ernie Chambers, black activist/bajillion term state senator for North Omaha, who 1) sued God and 2) is inexplicably obsessed with stopping people from hunting pumas. He also once suggested a plan that would have effectively re-segregated the school system. Not coincidentally, Omaha is possible the most segregated city in the United States; at least 50% of Nebraska's African American population lives East of Dodge and North of 72nd street (Hell, maybe 42nd St.).
Another famous Nebraskan worthy of mention is Charles Starkweather, a famous spree killer.
Also, it should be noted that Nebraska, despite being freakishly Republican, has routinely elected Democrats to Congress. This is ironic given that there realistically isn't much difference between either party in the states. Ben Nelson was pretty much a Republican and most people in this state would swear up and down that Chuck Hagel is a Democrat.

- I'm a little disappointed that I didn't finish off getting rid of all these pointless state articles. Thanks for the reminder :) SophieWilder 10:53, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
That's fair enough. I find them amusing as hell, but they aren't exactly on mission. I don't have any argument for keeping them other than affinity. ----
