Soothampton Fitbaa Club is an Inglis fitbaa team, nicknamed The Saints, based in the ceety o Soothampton, Hampshire. The club will compete in the Premier League for the 2012–13 saison, haein gained promotion in the 2011–12 saison, feenishin as runners up in the Championship. Efter 27 years playin top-flicht fitbaa the club wis relegatit tae the Championship in 2005, afore being relegatit further tae League One in 2009. The club then secured back tae back promotions unner the new an current management o Nigel Adkins, completin their return tae the Premier League on 28 Aprile 2012.
Their hame grund is the St Mary's Stadium, where the club moved tae in 2001 frae The Dell. Soothampton uisually play in red an white stripes, but tae celebrate their 125t anniversary the club haes revertit tae its original red sash design.
