The City Library is a proud partner in Salt Lake County's Talking is Teaching initiative, which offers support to families with young children to help them learn together in any language through talking, singing, reading, writing and playing every day.
Prepare your little one for kindergarten through the world of books. This program invites you to read 1,000 books during the first five years of your child's life. For each milestone you reach in your journey (100, 250, 500, 750, and 1,000 books), you will receive a prize.
