Angen

Angen (安元やすもと) was a Japanese era name (年号ねんごう,, nengō,, lit. "year name") after Jōan and before Jishō. This period started in July 1175[1] and ended in August 1177.[2] The reigning emperor was Takakura-tennō (高倉天皇たかくらてんのう).[3]
