Dmitri Victorovich Anosov (Russian: Дми́трий Ви́кторович Ано́сов; November 30, 1936 – August 5, 2014[1]) was a Soviet and Russian mathematician. He was known for his work in dynamical systems theory.[2]
He was a full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and a winner of the USSR State Prize (1976).[2] He was a student of Lev Pontryagin.[3]
Anosov died in Moscow, Russia, aged 77.
