Faith Ringgold[1] (born Faith Willi Jones; October 8, 1930[2] – April 13, 2024) was an American painter, writer, mixed media sculptor, and performance artist, best known for her narrative quilts. She was born in New York City.
Ringgold died at her home in Englewood, New Jersey, on April 13, 2024, at age 93.[3]
