Synopsis
In the year 2005, the Battle of Autobot City rages on. The Decepticon Combiner, Devastator has broken his way into the city. He does not, however, go unchallenged, as Ultra Magnus comes to a halt right in from of him, carrying Tracks, Sideswipe, and Red Alert on his trailer. Transforming, the four manage to pour in enough fire to cause the massive Decepticon to separate into the individual Constructicons. Undeterred, the Constructicons advance, causing Ultra Magnus to call for a retreat. Red Alert tells the others to go on as he tries to hold them off, but he is offlined as a blast tears through his back. All the while, Megatron watches on.
7 years later, Runamuck and Runabout recount this and the other events of the battle. Megatron was soon confronted by Optimus Prime, and the two fought each other to the death. Megatron was revived and turned into Galvatron, but he had changed, his insanity causing as much trouble for the Decepticons as the Autobots; the two Battlechargers note that they stayed on Cybertron instead of leaving with the other Decepticons due to him. Finding their history lesson highly informative, Jhiaxus feels that it is now the time to rebuild the Cybertronian Empire!

Quotes
"And then he threw Megatron off a cliff! Can you believe it? Who does that?"
- —Runamuck
Notes
- Characters mentioned but not seen include: the Dinobots, Optimus Prime, Soundwave, Astrotrain, and Galvatron.
Continuity notes
- The Autobot City battle pages are directly based on a set of storyboards for a deleted scene from The Transformers: The Movie down to the individual panels.
- Additionally, Runamuck and Runabout recount Prime and Megatron's fight, and Galvatron's creation, also from The Transformers: The Movie.
- Galvatron was driven insane by the plasma baths of Thrull, as seen in Transformers episode "Five Faces of Darkness, Part 2".
- The majority of the Decepticon army fled into space after the events of "The Rebirth".
- Runamuck claims that Galvatron was "crazier than a Three-headed Nullusceran", giving a species name to one of the patients seen in "Webworld", a three-headed alien who claimed he had no head.
Transformers references
- Jhiaxus appears with the design of his Robots in Disguise counterpart.
